Girls in bikinis, enjoying the sun the beaches in Florida
have to offer and vacationing before facing school finals is the exact
definition of a spring break. The film that bears such name offers just what it
promises. This is our short review of 'SPRING BREAKERS'.

If you are familiar with our reviews, you'll know by now
that we have no problem with movies that don't venture into the unknown. We
prefer to watch new and exciting ideas, but if a film chooses to use its
advantages and disadvantages the right way, the results could be worth watching.
This film was made with an almost documentary style, much to
the likes of 'Trainspotting'. The editing is a bit crazy, the dialogue is
street-like full of cursing and slangs and the story develops just enough to
keep the audience entertained.
The characterizations by the main actresses are a bit
over-the-top in some sequences, although, if it was done differently it might
have not worked for the overall film.
The only male main character in the movie, played by James
Franco, is just what the story needed to increase the tension level.
Don't go expecting to see a tremendous film because it isn't
that at all. However, if you try reading between the lines in the sequences
full of sex, drugs and alcohol, you might have a nice time.
