Review: SIDE EFFECTS

The director behind great films like "Erin Brockovich", "Ocean's Eleven", "Traffic", and "sex, lies and videotape" says goodbye (at least for a little while) but not without leaving us with a film worthy of being played in the local artsy theater. This is our review of "SIDE EFFECTS".

The story is about Emily, a late-twenties woman who is going through depression in a very complicated time in her life, but that for most of us would be time of happiness instead of sadness. After an incident, she is taken to a psychiatrist who prescribes her with different anti-depressives but none seems to work due to the side effects they can produce on her.

We can't tell you more because "SIDE EFFECTS" is a film full of tension that progresses slowly but with firm and confident steps. In other words- the narrative is priceless and the script is played to perfection by a great filmmaker and actors and actresses that elevate each line to its highest reach.

First 2013 film that left us completely satisfied. 10/10 WOW Can't Miss This Movie.
