Review: THE CROODS

Dreamworks Animation brings us its new production of a dysfunctional family in the Stone Age with "THE CROODS".

It isn't necessary to actually live in a cave to know there wouldn't be much to do in it; much less if you were a teenager eager to see the world in its entire splendor. This is the problem faced by 'Eep', a young cavewoman with an overprotective father that sees danger everywhere and believes that anything new will lead to an impending death.

Everything changes when 'Guy', a young man who learned to use his brain instead of his muscles, comes into their lives. By means of creating fire, shoes and other cleverly inventions, he'll try to help the Croods change their monotonous and boring life into one full of fun and adventure.

"THE CROODS" isn't Dreamworks' best stuff but does a pretty good job entertaining the audience; that goes for both young ones and grownups alike.

8/10 Worth the Ticket Price.

NOTE-
We received a few comments about the more recent reviews and how they are interesting but a bit longer than usual. Since we want you to have fun reading them, for the upcoming ones we will reduce the information within, and do a more shorten version like the one you'd see on rottentomatoes.com. We would also like to offer a sincere apology for the recent lack of reviews, we had some technical issues that were out of our control, but everything is working fine now and we'll be posting back at least once a week from now on. Good review Edgar. If you're a teen, then the movie will probably be a mixed bag for you, but I would recommend seeing it just once to be your own judge on the movie. Can’t hurt to just watch.
