Robert Zemeckis put directing actors wearing suits with
markers all over and got back to doing it the traditional way with his new film
"FLIGHT".
The story is about an airline pilot who becomes instantly
famous when he saves dozens of lives by performing an impossible maneuver
midair and landing a plane under horrible conditions. After 30 very intense
minutes, the movie turns into something completely different than what you'd
expect.
Denzel Washington performs a distraught man like only he can
in the main roll of 'Whip Whitaker'. John Goodman joins is a few spots as a
drug-dealer and he was awesome! Don Cheadle compliments as a lawyer trying to
save the career and reputation of the pilot Whitaker.
There isn't much to go about on regards to cinematography or
special effects; they are average and not much more. The screenplay is all over
the place, never settling on being an adventure, a drama or mystery.
