Enjoy it on the couch
Seeing as my theory proved right, today I
bring you my review of Ben Affleck's 2007 directorial debut 'GONE BABY GONE'.
Playing the main character 'Patrick Kenzie' is Ben's brother Cassey Affleck.
Patrick is a private investigator with plenty of experience and knowledge of
the street life. Him and his
girlfriend 'Angie Gennaro', played by Michelle Monaghan, are hired to find a
little girl gone missing. The little girl's mom happens to be an alcoholic, but
she sees this unfortunate time in her life to finally turn things around. Amy
Ryan who received a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Academy Awards
for her performance played the mom. The story is full of twists and
extraordinary moments that could have given a wrong turn into ridiculous, but
Ben Affleck does and excellent work maintaining a thin line between the
realistic and the typical Hollywood movie. 'Gone baby gone' is definitely a
movie that you should find at your local video club and enjoy on the comforts
of your couch. 9/10 Good Popcorn
Fun.
