Review: THE OTHER WOMAN, NON-STOP, OCULUS

We know summer movies are just around the corner. We leave you with 3 reviews of movies that came out just before: OCULUS. NON-STOP. THE OTHER WOMAN.

By Staff
We haven't been around much and that probably had you thinking we were just goofing around. Truth is, we love what we do in Front Seat Review, but after many long days working on reviews for award-nominated movies that arrived in Mexico a bit late, we had to take a short break before going all-in this summer season.

Anyway, lets gets started with the reviews.

THE OTHER WOMAN.
This film tells us about three women that are sleeping with the same man but don't know it. When they find out the truth, they come together to take revenge on the man who betrayed them.

The story takes too long to develop. It's supposed to be a comedy but sometimes it feels a little like a drama. Not all jokes are funny and the ones that are, aren't developed right or suffer from bad editing.

3/10 STAY AWAY.

NON-STOP.
Liam Neeson's newest flick tells us about a flight Marshall who is being charged with the kidnapping of the flight, passengers and crew of the flight he is in. Now he must do everything he can to prove his innocence and to catch the true psychopath, who is on board the plane.

It seems Liam Neeson started his action career a tad too late, but we don't mind that much; most of his movies, even though the stories are a bit over-the-top, are quite entertaining. That's just how this movie works- it has some exciting moments and is somewhat fun to watch, especially when the audience is trying to figure out the plot. If anything, the movie struggled to keep the emotions on a high note.

7/10 WORTH THE TICKET PRICE.

OCULUS.
This horror movie tells us about two young siblings who have to watch their parents go through horrible things caused by a mirror, which, they believe is haunted. When they grow up, they get together to destroy the evil object once and for all.

While the flick doesn't offer enough moments to make you jump out of your seat, it does fulfill its promise to entertain you with a very well written screenplay that offers many interesting sequences (especially the one where 'Kaylie' tells us the mirror's back-story).

8/10 WORTH THE TICKET PRICE.
